Annual General Meeting and Farm Tour
SFNCR Members are invited to our Annual General Meeting to be held in person this year. There will be a BBQ lunch, short AGM (typically takes about 10-15 minutes) and a farm tour.
The Annual General Meeting
Our network is run by volunteers. If you like what the network does and would like it to continue, please nominate for a committee position. Positions can only be held for three years maximum which means that some of our committee must step down this year. The committee sets the direction of the network each year including selecting topics for workshops, webinar and grant projects.
The Farm Tour
Meet local farmers Kelly and Adam from Yolk Folk egg farm in Gundaroo and Suz from Branch and Burrow, Braidwood to chat about their small farm business adventures. There will be a farm tour and a short AGM meeting after lunch. On the farm tour Kelly will show you her set up and discuss the challenges of setting up a small farm business, Suz will also discuss her farming adventures.
The Lunch
We will provide a BBQ lunch featuring locally produced Branch and Burrow sausages, onions and bread. Please bring a plate of food to share, chair, cup and water bottle, plate and cutlery.
This is a members only event. If you are not a member you can join any time before the event.
Notice of Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of Small Farms Network Capital Region Incorporated will be held at 2.00pm on the host farm in Gundaroo. The address will be supplied after you register.
A nomination form is attached (Word or PDF). If you sign and submit the form, we will organise a nominator and seconder on the day. Positions that you can nominate for are President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and General Committee Member. A Public Officer is also needed (not a committee position).

Only financial members can nominate for positions and vote at the Annual General Meeting.
Other information
Registrations are essential for this event, and you can register for your family at the same time. If you intend to bring children to this event they must be under your supervision at all times. Please register your children as guests when you register. You cannot bring dogs to this event even in a car, if you have an assistance dog, please let the coordinator know before you arrive.
Please wear boots, sun hats, sunscreen and clean clothes suitable for being outdoors and clean your shoes before you arrive. Please do not wear clothes that you have been handling chickens in and be prepared to walk through a foot bath.
Bring a plate of food to share, cup, drink bottle, chair, cutlery and plate.
